A fantastically complex LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) made using grapes primarily from Quinta dos Malvedos and the neighbouring Quinta do Tua.
About
Our LBVs are matured in wood for five years prior to being bottled ready for drinking. The 2013 LBV can be enjoyed anytime and pairs wonderfully with dark chocolate desserts as well as semi-cured and cured cheeses like Cheddar and Manchego.
Tasting
Enticing red and black fruit aromas with some lovely mint and eucalyptus notes. Generous on the palate, revealing delicious blackberry fruit underscored by ripe, polished tannins, giving the wine great freshness and vitality.
Serving
Serve at room temperature. Once open enjoy within 4-6 weeks.
